STEPHEN BLY (1944-2011) and his widow, author Janet Chester Bly, published over 120 fiction and nonfiction books for adults and kids with over two million books in print. Janet Chester Bly and their three sons Russell, Michael and Aaron, finished Stephen's last novel for him,

He was a popular speaker at colleges, schools, churches, seminars and conferences across the U.S. and Canada.

He was pastor of churches in California and Idaho, including Winchester Community Church in Winchester, Idaho. He also served as the town's mayor (1999-2007). He was an Active Member of the Western Writers of America and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in philosophy from Fresno State College. He earned an M. Div. degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
