Devastated But Hopeful 6/12/2024

It has been a rought 24 hours. I had worked for weeks on my website and had cataloged and posted almost 500 books. And in a second lost it all. Not sure what happened! I don't know if it was my fault, the websites fault, the host fault, I just don't know. I do know that Satan is not going to stop me and he will not win. I am starting over with God by my side and I will get this book store up and running. 

As for now be patient. It is going to take me a bit to get everything put back on here. But I am going to do it!

God is Good....Im not stressed anymore! 6/17/2024

Well I have got my site back up and running. Though I do not have a checkout but I do have ways for you to make payments and send me a list of what you want (Contact Us Page). 

I took me less time this time because I knew what I was doing and how this site works. 

I do know that I have got to STOP going out because I always come home with more books LOL ​

But it is what I love to do and I hope that you all will love the next round of books I am putting in.

YES I even have books in the dresser drawers! But I am LOVING this! And I hope to spread my love of books to many people and many places! 

Oh Yeah....If you hear of anyone that may have some bookshelves cheap let me know. I sure could use a couple or 4.

Just a Quick Note 6/20/2024

Today I will be starting on a new batch of books. I will catalog them in my app and then I will start adding them to the store. Up until now I have tried to keep everything in alphabetical order, but now it may be a little tricky in doing that. Also, When you look at the pages there will be blank spots. I will get those cleaned up as soon as I can.

Im telling you all of this because I want you to see the process as I go through it. If you have any questions about my process , about the store, about a specific book, or about my prices just use the Contact Me page to send me a message.

What do you use as a bookmark? 6/21/2024

HAPPY FRIDAY! HAPPY WEEKEND!

When you buy books like I do you never know what you are going to find when you open them up. People use many things as bookmarks and I have do the same. YOu know grab the closest thing to save you page. 

Well over the last few days as I was going through the rest of my books to catalog here is what I have found: an airline ticket, a ticket to a Braves game, a Pokemon card, a hotel room key, a receipt from a bookstore, a gift card (no money on it lol), and a plain bookmark. Some of these things can tell how far a book has traveled and where it has traveled to.  Wouldn't it be interesting if books could talk. 

Im off to finish cataloging books so I can add them to the store! Hope you have a fantabulous weekend! Stay cool and don't overheat!

HE KNOWS MY NAME 6/26/2024

As I am sitting here putting books into the store I was reminded of an incident that happened a few days ago.

I love coffee from McDonald's so much that I order it a lot. I either go through the drive-thru or I order it on the mobile app and go pick it up. The other day I ordered from the mobile app to go pick up. So I get there and before I can even let them know I am there the guy comes up to my car and says "Ms. Beverly I have your coffee ready for you". Now I didn't think I ordered that much but they knew my name, what my car looked like, what I looked like, etc.

As I was thinking about this it come to me. Jesus knows your name! He knows everything about you. From what coffee you like to whats in your heart. HE KNOWS EVERYTHING! Including how many hairs are on your head!

PRAISE GOD HE KNOWS MY NAME!

How amazing is that! He knows your name, what you like, everything about you!

Contest WInner and Other Things 7/11/2024

I know Im late....But hey its my Blog and I can be late if I want too! LOL

Seriously though life has just got in the way and I am behind.

I have finished loading all books to the website and looking for more books to add.

I did draw for the contest winner and Janna Beacham won  the $20 gift certificate and $10 Starbucks card. The other ladies got a $10 gift certificate to my online bookstore.  I will be doing more contest soon..

I would like to ask you to please share my website with all you family and friends. Just to get the word out that I am legit (even though I do not have a checkout). That checkout is gonna cost me $35 a month and I just cannot do that right now. Maybe I can soon though if I can start selling some books. So please share, share, share,
